Hello World,

I am working on my first "Choose Your Own Adventure"—a project that is an on-and-off work in progress for the past couple of years. I have decided to post a very short teaser, to test the waters per se. There is very little content in this teaser; it contains no "Choose Your Own Adventure" elements yet, heh. The purpose of this teaser is to gauge interest while looking for feedback and advice on where to take this.

The story will include:

• RPG elements
  • unsure of the extent to take this
• Interactive mapping
  • or something along those lines
• Four main branching stories
  • including many game changing decisions
• Some form of collectibles
  • something interesting and optional for people who want more story
• Ability to transfer game state to another game
  • if this is broken into multiple parts
  • (no idea if this is plausible on this site)

Which brings me to two questions: 

1. Has anybody incorporated a "transfer game state from one game to another" feature in any story? And if so, how did they incorporate it?

2. Is anyone interested (or know anyone who may be interested) in doing artwork for this game? I am no where near capable of producing quality art (the "Gender Selection" screen would be my best artwork to date :P).
