Hi, my name is 100% ideas, 0% motivation- also known as spycrow. Call me Crow.

I guess you could say I'm an aspiring artist, animator, and writer. I'm also the laziest thing alive which does NOT mix well with my hobbies. Animal sim games are my favorite, but the surprising lack of decent sims on CYS casts me into a spiral of insanity (and writing my own). Don't talk to me.

Need someone to proofread your storygame? on 5/18/2015 10:34:02 PM

I'm a damn bored dude with writer's block. If anyone out there wants someone to test and proofread their story just let me know. I'm all game. I'll check for spelling, grammar, link errors, and even give you little suggestions on how you can improve your storygame.

If you don't know how this is possible, please direct your eyes to this nifty article: http://chooseyourstory.com/help/articles/article.aspx?ArticleId=50

Yes, I'll even test WC games. Just fuck me up. Shoot me a comment or pm if you're interested.

I doubt it, since these are wild cats who are borderline starving. And cat's aren't purple.

Look up warriors traditionalism before you write a warriors fic. Please, for the love of everything that is good and holy. I'm tired of people naming their cats things that don't make sense and completely invalidate world building and unique cultural structure. Do your research.

No problem! Good luck with your game. ^^

The best (and easiest) way to do it would be to make individual links for them. So first, create the three items, set them to appear on that certain page, then create three options as such:

> Take cheeseburger.
> Take hotdog.
> Take pizza slice.

In the editor, there will be a few tools to the left of each link. Click the stop sign! With this tool, you can make it so this link requires a certain item or variable (or it requires to not have these certain items or variables!) to be clickable. Let's say we're editing the cheeseburger option.

Click on "Item Restrictions" and make sure the cheeseburger is switched to "Has" and the hotdog and pizza slice are switched to "Not Has". Save it! Then make sure to do the same for the rest of the options, their selected food with the "Has" and the other foods with the "Not Has". You can also go to "Link Restrictions" and click the "visible when inactive" option so you can still see the other options but even if they're not clickable!

Now when you test your game, you'll see that when you pick up the cheeseburger, the option > Take cheeseburger. is now clickable, but the other options are not! If you pick up the pizza and cheeseburger, no options are clickable!

There are other ways to do it, but personally, this one is the easiest to do.

That's not a bad idea, actually! I'll have to steal that handy trick of yours. c;

I want to rock out for 32 days straight guys help. No, I'm kidding. Here's the pitch!

  • Reply to the latest person's post with a link to your favorite song(s). Any genre/music counts! It can even be something of your own! Please try to keep it mature, though...
  • Listen to the song(s) the person before you posted! Say what you liked about them if you want!
  • And Jesus said, "let there be headbanging."
  • It may or may not be 3:30 in the morning.

Completely agree with getting a coauthor- somebody to proofread your story and test all the links for you. I'd be more then happy to help if you ever need one! ^^ Reading and correcting other people's stories gives myself motivation to write my own. I think you'd find it the same, yourself. If you'd rather not get a coauthor, try rereading your story and reading it out loud. Good luck!

I made you a coauthor. Please do get some rest! You and me, though. I've had a killer headache since last night. Get well soon!
