I'm gonna actually work on this game. I get all these game ideas that are far too big for me. I'll work on those one day, But this game will be something small and to get me started. Probably will end up linear or something. SO yeah, It'll be short and certainly not the best, but I hope it entertains a bit and gets me used to writing so that I can go on to do my actual projects that I haven't worked on :y.

I probably would not have attacked you. I'm not the type to break an agreement without good cause so I would have stuck to the plan until the end. On top of that, since it was my first time having a more experienced ally would have been more beneficial in the long run, both in public relations and in direction of research. Speaking of which, I believe one of my bigger mistakes was a lot of unnecessary research. At least that's how I viewed it. That being said, I will remain neutral this time around until someone threatens me with a sword of offers me something shiny. also, 3J, I was wondering how big the map you are making is and how varied the resources are. Is it an original resource list, or are you using a list from one of the other games?

I'm skeptical on the magic staves thing, but I'm all for the exploration of ruins. I'd prefer to see a variation of treasure rather than just finding staves. Perhaps you could send your children into the dungeons to emerge as heroes (or to die horrible deaths) to gain favor with the people and ease their transition to the throne over other siblings. As for different types of treasures, maybe something a long the lines of a legendary sword that you could give to a general to raise troop morale, or some other sort of lost relic that can raise your favor with the people (culture boost?). I'd personally rather not be guaranteed anything when exploring a ruin, as that would take away a bit of the excitement. And just to clarify, I'm not against the idea of magic at all. I just think that if it's there then it should be rare.

2. I have no problems with this. 3. The Idea sounds awesome if it's done right. But it also sounds complicated. What attributes would you be able to affect and how would they play into the game? 4. I would love more role playing. It adds an extra layer of life to a game, and can help keep things interesting in an otherwise slow time in an empire's history. 5. I'm all for this I can't say that there is really anything that I want or don't want to see in this, I really just want to play it. I don't feel like I truly got to experience Arc, and I made a lot of mistakes that I would like to (hopefully) amend through a new game.

I am actually fine with not being able to meet up with anyone at this point. There are still a lot of untapped resources around me that I plan on exploiting as soon as possible. I would rather not meet people until I have my area well under my control and with a certain amount of protection.

Well, I have successfully explored everything there is for my people to explore at the moment. And am still so very lonely...
