The instructions weren't quite clear to me. I read them to assume that the number of lights on will reset to the initial default at the start of each round and that the lights will rotate a fixed number of turns inside. But I felt it was a bit ambiguous.

If that's the case, with only four lights, you just go through the progressions. All four lights on once. The same two adjacent buttons four times. Two opposing lights twice. The same three buttons three times.

Anyway, that's the premise I assume it's operating under because I doubt I would have hit it multiple times quickly if the inner lights didn't reset or the rotation wasn't fixed.

The brothers must have been very impatient or kind of dumb. But I get that a lot of complex puzzles take a ton of time to script an adding each new light would take increasingly more time.

Still, a decent little puzzle. These puzzles are almost always better when worked into the plot of a greater story. The little bit of writing was pretty sloppy here. The opening paragraph is in passive voice and contains multiple run on sentences. I get that it's a puzzle, but this is a bit lazy.

Still, would recommend for those who like puzzles.

Excellent puzzle game. The only thing that I would change is that difficulty. 4- March in the Swamp? More like 6- Wandering through the desert. Great game tho, I guess what brings the difficulty down is there's answers.

This was pretty all right as a puzzle.
I had to check the reviews to solve it because I am too tired for thinking, but it had a clear and well-explained solution.
A lot of "puzzle" games I have played seemed to just have a lot of messing around with items in ways that barely make sense with maybe a bad riddle or too.

The writing in the beginning could have been cleaned up a bit; it wasn't stellar. Also, I don't see it necessary to have single link pages one after the other when there is no scene change, and the pages are only two small paragraphs.

Not much of a story here, but the fact that the puzzle had a detailed explanation of the solution and wasn't the puzzle equivalent of an lol random game scored a few points.

I think its a good concept but I won the puzzle in one turn. I guess it was just luck?

I don’t think the instructions were that unclear. They were pretty straightforward to me. Unfortunately, I wasn’t smart enough to actually figure out the algorithm.

This was really confusing.
