Just something something...

We seek the light with sightless eyes
Hear winds that never blow,
In an empty book we discover lies
And trap what does not flow.

In a world of fear and flesh
We give ourselves a role,
We fake a void and fill it with
An even faker soul.

Cool philosophical meaning.

Only problem I had with this, was that you abruptly changed the meter of the two stanzas; try and keep the meter consistent throughout the stanzas of a poem.

You can search for so long,

Never to find;

You can shout for so long,

Never to be heard;

You can fight for so long,

Never to win;

You can be loved for so long,

Never to love.

Is life hopeless? No.

For in life there is:

           A meaning you can find,

           An ear you can call,

           A battle to be won,

           A spirit to be loved.

K?
