maybe each month a judge can choose his\her top stories they have read..

i think that will give authors more motivation to keep writing especially if they made it to the list.. 

 

Some months we barely get ten stories that survive and most that scrape by are still objectively shit. Anyone remotely qualified to be a judge I suspect is too busy with their own things to want to be saddled with the obligation of thoroughly reading through every story posted anyhow.

And besides, we can already go to New Storygames and just sort by rating or length.

e: the one thing that really does encourage authors is people reading and reviewing their games. You don't seem to do that, so maybe you should.
