Actually, unless items are involved, dead end pages are grounds for immediately unpublishing a story for being unfinished.
If End Game links were just added in automatically, we'd lose our most obvious indicator of a broken game, and it would look like the author had put in a bare minimum of effort to finish it when they hadn't really.
(Although yes, if the main issue here is wanting an easy way to get at free point, that's different...but if it's just a matter of removing the game, it will likely be something admins are already aware of and just letting sit a bit to let our citizens have their lols.)
