I'd very much enjoy the ability to save what you've written in the story editor without exiting, if it's not already a do-able thing.
That would be great. It's really annoying that I have to close it just to save. Great idea!
Is it really that hard to just load it back up after saving? Also the save&exit system assumes you actually can't read anymore when you save if I'm correct. Hence the exit.
It isn't, but I usually save several times out of caution, which breaks up my train of thought.

I usually save once every 30 minutes when I'm writing, just to be safe, because I've been assaulted by the horror of exitting without saving or accidentally hitting the Backspace which screws up the page I'm on far too many times.
