I just beat it. Now that, is one fucking fantastic game. I found the ending to be mind-blowingly epic, and I am SUUPER excited for the third game. 

And hopefully more forbidden lesbian sex with Liara T'soni.

I LOVED the introduction to the final mission (especially since it's different every time depending on how you prepare it) but the final boss battle was kinda boring to me. I was hoping for more.

But technically the lesbian sex isn't "forbidden", or even "lesbian." The Asari aren't female as they don't have genders. They might not even appear the way we think they do, since a background event in Mass Effect 2 suggests that every race think the Asari look like them.

T'was a joke, playing on the fact that the relationship with Liara is bestiality, which is usually frowned upon...

Did you get through with everyone? Lost Miranda on my first playthrough coz nubness :(

He was playing a female Shep though, so his only other choices were between two green reptile alien dicks. I'm guessing Malk had the Shadow Broker DLC because that's the only way Shep even interacts with Liara in such a way for MA2. Liara's pretty forgiving though since she called me out for doing Tali and then the next scene she's all over me.

I thought it was impossible to lose Miranda unless you deliberately screwed up and lost just about everyone else first.

True. The romance options in ME2 aren't exactly great. (Your fucking loss, Samara)

I lost Miranda's favour during the confrontation between her and Jack; she would have survived the final mission though if I hadn't been stupid enough to keep her with me in the very last fight.

They were better than the first games so called 'romance'. lol

 I never lost anyone since my first playthough tries to keep everybody loyal and happy regardless of the game.

They sort of give you so much warning about being prepared before taking on the Collectors that most folks do all the ship upgrades and loyalty missions first. So it's actually pretty difficult to get the total crew loss ending unless you deliberately do it.

Make sure to download the free DLC extended cut, otherwise the ending is quite under par considering how many hours you've doubtless put into the trilogy by that point. I also highly suggest you bite the bullet and pay for the From Ashes DLC.

Combat is sped up and simplified. Mostly the crew mates aren't as inspiringly deep in ME3 as in ME2, but the game is good. It got more hate than deserved. I hope you enjoy it. 

Did you have the DLC for Katsumi Goto and Zaheer Massani?

Javik was pretty much the only follower I consistently traveled with in MA3. His views on various things, races and people are pretty amusing.

Javik is by far my favorite crew member in the third installment, I took him on almost every mission. Legion was my favorite in the second game. Wrex was my favorite in the first.

Javik: In my Cycle, we cleansed food from our teeth with our own biotic abilities.
Wrex: Man, your Cycle sounds like crap.

Legion: We do not comprehend the organic fascination of self-poisoning, auditory damage, and sexually transmitted disease.

I got Kasumi, and she died in an engine fire at the end of ME2. 

Oh, that's garbage man. That's a pretty lame way to lose someone.

Call me bleak but I actually don't like those picture perfect endings all that much. I didn't lose anyone in Mass Effect 2. I was very careful and thorough in every part of that game. Don't worry too much about losing Kasumi though, she doesn't play a very big role in ME3.

No. I didn't really think she was well-developed enough to warrant mourning. 

Garrus  Vakarian, however. I he teared up when the Seeker swarms got him. 

How many people did you lose exactly? ME3 might be lonely if you also lost, Tali, or Kaiden/Ash. Glad you still have Liara. Losing Garrus seriously bites. You may want to boot up an old save and try to go through the Suicide Mission without losing him.

That ain't gonna happen, primarily because I'm already on the third.  I uh... sort of shot Ashley on the Citadel. I only made it out of the suicide mission with five of my squadmates. :P

The only person I lost in MA2 was Samara and that was because I chose Morinth over her. Too bad you don't get to recruit her again in MA3. Would've been interesting to see her interaction with Liara.

I didn't get to take Kasumi on the suicide mission since I had already beaten it by the time her DLC came out, but I still played through her personal mission afterwards and she briefly popped up in MA3.

Low point of the entire trilogy: 

Watching the Collectors step over the corpse of Grunt.

Tali, Jack, Thane, Jacob and me. 

Whoops, I got the number wrong. It would appear I only had four survivors. Also, I sort of lost the entire crew of the Normandy. I didn't give them an escort. 

You are in dire straights for Mass Effect 3. Did Wrex survive Mass Effect 1?

If he did then perhaps the Krogan can survive, if not then I say let the genophage reign.

Mordin is dead. Also, spoiler alert.

Not much of a spoiler since I'm sure he's heard about the events in ME3 already. Besides, I figured a big event about the Genophage was going to come up sooner or later in the games when I first heard about it.

I just shot Wrex in ME3, and Tali jumped off the fucking cliff.

I got word that the Reapers killed everyone in the academy, after I cured the Genophage instead...

Sheesh, out of those 4 only Tali can rejoin the crew. I guess you're traveling with boring ass James for a long time, unless you downloaded Javik.

I didn't shoot Ashley, but I never took her back with me as a crew member. Just didn't see the point.

I take it your not very patient about getting to the main missions in these games are you? xD

Don't worry, It won't. Bioware said that the "Shepard trilogy" is over. We'll get Shepard Number 2

Nope, we have a prequel if what I've read is correct. So I wouldn't be surprised if we see our Shepard again.
