Messaging Yourself

I don't think that we should be able to message ourselves. I don't see any use in doing it. Really the only thing I can thing of is having a pointless and sad conversation with yourself.

Hey! I happen to enjoy those pointless and sad conversations with myself!

"I love you, Orange."

I love you, too.

Messaging Yourself

I do too.

That is why they need to go. They're corrupting us and making us go insane!

Not that that hasn't already happened.

I am firmly against this because I use messaging to save my unfinished reviews, or other unfinished bits of writing.

What's the point of removing it? If you, personally, don't have any reason to message yourself, then don't.

As a feature that doesn't do any harm to anyone, I don't believe there's a reason to do it.  Besides, I email myself with notes and reminders all the time, and I don't see why I couldn't do the same on the site.  I say keep it.

There is the Notepad for that.

But whatever. It sounded like it should be something we should get rid of at the time, but now that I think about it the "get rid of self messages" sounds pointless.

It's not really all that annoying, It just seems pretty much useless.

But on another note, should we be able to message people who're banned?

Well there was that update where admins can unban people... so maybe it's fine.

There's this banned idiot who has used a couple of the titles I wish to use. I mean what's up with that?! They're not even published!

Why are you replying to your own post? That's so pathetic and sad.

Messaging Yourself

If it's pathetic and sad then why do you watch it?

I can answer that question myself, actually.

Because it's fun.

I think I had too many Jolly Ranchers...

Messaging Yourself

Actually, you haven't had enough Jolly Ranchers. The sugar making people hyper thing isn't real; It's a placebo.

Messaging Yourself

Are you sure THAT'S not a placebo?

It doesn't really harm anyone, and I can't consider it a glitch, so I say leave it be.

Messaging Yourself

Isn't that what most people's lives are? Pointless and sad?

Messaging Yourself

Good point, Zag.

I'm glad you see my reasoning, HP.

Messaging Yourself

That includes you too, y'know.

And don't call me HP

Oh, I know. :^)

Hoho! Noses in the emoticon, I see?

You just committed a horrible sin. THIS is why you're life is pointless in this world of other pointless beings.

Hope that you repent before you go to bed tonight.

Sinner.

Don't you worry, Jesus has got my back. And my soul. And my life. Everything else too, really.

Messaging Yourself

I'm just going to congratulate you on that one.

Good job with that.

Messaging Yourself

I don't think I've ever been congratulated for my beliefs before, in sarcasm or in all seriousness. Thank you.

One person here has said it's useful to them, if you don't want to use it just don't. I see no point in just removing abilities that harm no one here.
