Sooo I had this question in my head, but I never had time to figure them out.

Why do our games not be something else besides a game. I mean this would also be a good site to have like, people post their books, and just get feedback. Or post other writings. I mean that's just me I think about different things, than most. But still I mean, like some use it for guides to help write a better game. But I don't know maybe it's just me but whatever I guess!!

Thank you, Ford, that is much more clear now.

As I remember UndeadLover is in an insane asylum, so maybe her meds are kicking in, or maybe she’s off them.

In any case, I think what she’s trying to say is she wants to be able to write something other than a CYOA on here, which she could do anyway in the Creative Corner forum.

She's in an insane asylum? The more you learn about people.

well i'm not really in one, just a home, kind of thing to get better.. but still, kind of, crazy anger issues.. and other things but yeah..

Different Idea's for Games

I wish you luck in getting better eventually.

Oh hey, you're back!

Different Idea's for Games

Yup xD

Different Idea's for Games

About time, too. I missed you so much I printed a picture of your avatar and taped it to a rock.

Different Idea's for Games

Wow. I mean, "I missed you so much, I melted down the gelatin of the wrist-pads on 8 mousepads and formed myself a jello ass so I could spank it while you were gone!"

Except worse and less sexual. I mean, seriously, if Seto can be replaced by a pet rock...

Different Idea's for Games

It took a lot of imagination.

Different Idea's for Games

... Minnie, what were you doing with the Seto Rock?...

Different Idea's for Games

Well, first I took him to the park and we played basketball. I lost. Then some stupid kids started making fun of me, and I threw Seto at them and hit one of them in the eye. So, I ran away with Seto as the ambulance came, and then when we got home we threw a party, but nobody else came. Then Seto got drunk and started spitting lava all over the table. We just watched movies and talked about butterflies after that.

Different Idea's for Games

Well, I guess that's marginally better than a jello ass.

Different Idea's for Games

That sounds like a very eventful day xD

Different Idea's for Games

Oh no, the butterfly talk lasted for the rest of the time you were gone actually.

Different Idea's for Games

I change my statement -

That sounds like a very eventful day, and then a very peaceful week xD

Different Idea's for Games

O.o Worse?

Different Idea's for Games

Well, yeah, I mean, at least there was a reason to enjoy and/or remember the ass. Just putting a face on a rock is filling in wallflower space.

What exactly do you want? If you want feedback on something you're writing, there is the Creative corner. Is there something wrong with it?

Different Idea's for Games

On some level I wouldn't mind having a way to get actual ratings and feedback on regular stories, but realistically this would just get abused constantly by lazy idiots and create a flood of shitty stories that an admin would wind up having to remove. Even the just barely decent ones would wind up drowning out the CYOAs because they're just so much easier to complete, and on a CYOA site you kind of don't want that.

This is all assuming you're saying what I think you're saying.

Let's invite UndeadLover to the Villain Lair.

What do you have to do to be invited?

There was a point, I think the same weekend they brought in Azure, where the idea of bringing in one random person a week, beating them with sticks, and then banning them was being tossed around, but that didn't really go anywhere.

I've been feeling the exact thing lately! Why just storygames?

I mean, let's really get into the root words here. "Story". "Game". Why stop at just "Games"? "Game" is merely a word we use to describe a lone feature we provide for a "Player". Why stop at just "Story"? See what I'm getting at here? We behind the Molyneux account have decided to take the next step. We've made innovations that will revolutionize the world of storygames forever. We at Molyneux have dedicated ourselves to set the new standard in storygames from here on out, while at the same time establishing a timeless paragon that generations will look back upon.

This new era of storygaming will be ushered in with our next great project: Habooboo.

Habooboo will in itself define its own genre, which, in honor of its inspirations, will be called the "Gamestorygame". It will combine richly crafted form with painstakingly built function to such a degree that humanity will never truly forget it. It will be to the game industry what Brutal Doom would've been if it were released in place of Regular Doom and was capable of being run on the computers of the day without slowing to a crawl an frying the motherboard. Habooboo will be the gamestorygame to which, for generations to come, all others will be compared. Well-loved characters will become almost real. As iconic and revered as the Greek Gods and heroes of yore, yet at the same time as close and well loved as one's favorite Storygame characters.

Habooboo will feature a vast, open world, populated each by entirely unique individuals, each with jobs and a place in their deeply developed histories and cultures, each with a role to play in the player's experi-AAAAGH! LET GO OF MY THROAT, YOU PRIMITIVE! GENIUS HAS ALWAYS BEEN OPPRESSSED BY MEDIOCRE MINDS!

Dammit Sent, I wanted to ask him if he could make a tree that grew as you played.

Different Idea's for Games

Oh, we'll have trees alright! And they'll be hyper-realistic! And not just the trees, but the WHOLE WORLD will grow as you play! It'll be a massively multiplayer GALAXY! Every frame will be so dense, there'll be so much going o- AAAGH MY GRACEFUL SKYLARK SPINE!

You know, one of the weirder things Molly was always on about is the whole "sensation experience" in the future of video games.

He shoved the whole dog thing down everyone's throat for part 2 (And you couldn't even get rid of it if you wanted to like he kept claiming you'd be able to of course) saying about how players would FEEL an attachment to this animal, etc. etc.

Then he did the same thing with some cancelled VR game I think he was working on and would go on about how wonderful it would be, to embrace a child virtually and as you held/hugged them you'd feel their love in the simulation.

Uh, no Molly. Just fucking no.

Different Idea's for Games

Last time I saw anyone /embracing/ something in VR, it was an empty occulus room with a single model in it "Simulating" that thing anime chicks do where they wrap their legs around you and have sex while you're standing. It came with an electric masturbator and everything!

What I'm saying is, maybe you really would feel something. Maybe you really tipped someone off to the vast market available for child sex robots.

This is what everyone in Star Trek is doing 24/7, any time they're not on camera.

Different Idea's for Games

I think Kirk is secretly doing it all the time with Google Contacts and a portable JO thing. It'd certainly explain his weird speech patterns and why he's so eager to casually seduce all the space chicks. He's constantly orgasming and can't even tell real life apart from in-depth-anime-plotted porn anymore...

Anyway, yeah, they have a place for those "Non-Storygame" things. It's the Creative Corner. If you do a good, you get points and commendsies.
