Story Backups

There should be a way to backup stories.

Other than manually saving every individual pages, variables, scripts, ect...

Would be extremely useful, especially on really really long stories.

Pretty sure deleting your own story on accident is pretty much the stupidest thing someone can... oh wait. I did that once. Nevermind. This might actually be a nice feature, even if someone accidentally deleting a storygame is super uncommon. Just to be safe.

I think it's more of a "I just made a change to my storygame which fucked everything up and I have no idea what I actually did" issue.

Either way it was brought up in this thread:

Hmm. I type everything up in Word and save it on my computer. Once I get a decent chunk done, I start copy/pasting it into my storygame. Doesn't prevent me from accidentally deleting stuff, which I do occasionally, but at least I have all my writing somewhere. Of course, this doesn't help if you've already written the story.

I do the same so to prevent the loss of these storygames just save it to a document yourself. 3J won't be bothered in whatever he's doing.
