I'd recommend TV Tropes.  You can easily lose time there.  Tthey discuss various fiction tropes in a breezy, easy to understand way, which might be helpful for aspiring writers,  Best of all, you'll learn about lampshading, so, yeah!

I feel like we should make a contest to get that thing populated. You just know traffic here would increase due to people stumbling on CYS through that.

Admitted it could be people we don't want, but you never know.

I’ve tried getting a few people to work on the CYS outpost a few times in the past, but failed my speech skill checks.

About the only person who really worked on it was James of all people.

That's why you bribe them with a contest. None can resist the sweet allure of (totally valuable) points and the amazing prestige that comes with winning a contest.
