Is there any way to read/play stories offline or download them? I'm leaving for a trip soon and won't have internet access, so I was wondering if I could download/read/play them offline?

Give ifdb.tads.org a browse, there's a lot of shit to wade through but most of the games are downloadable. Or if you can develop a taste for classic parser IF, ifcomp.org has this year's entries up and you could even vote if you played at least five games before the 15th.
