The new top 5 games

Hey Im wondering what you guys the people, think might be the new top 5 games. From what I know from Statistics currently is that Blunder Bob, Finals week, Black Hand, Palio, Adventures with Raven, Lisa Land, Lodin's Quest, the Sasquatch game, and Dogs of war are all high scorers. However some of the games are newer and it throws the stats off. So I'm wondering what you guys thinks should be the new top five games. I know Alex wants to change the new top five games. So any one write in what should they be.

of course, my opinion is going to be biased here.

Yeah Blunder Bob kicks butt. I think games should be on the Top 5 list, not based on how many people have played them in the past, but on current popularity and the duration it has been on the list.

I'd retire Lisa Land, Jurassic Fairview Park, and whatever game's been on the list for over 75 days. Visitors are more likely to play what game is mentioned on the opening page than any other game on the site.

Uh huh Kid Narc, logic would say that that's a decent idea except for the fact that finals week is a masterpiece that isn't going ANYWHERE :). Maybe we can have a new list that's like "best NEW Games" or somethign like that where we'll have game from teh last 75 days, but truthfully, we do have games that are all time good stuff that should remain around, not just cycle out because they're older, they're still the best.

top 5 games huh... alright here would be my list
1. Finals week for obvious reasons: There's a multitude of different ways to end the game, it's easy to win, hard to master, the girlfriend sequence is a work of absolute ART. It uses objects effectively, and the objects have more than one use. It's not an overwhelming game, and it's fun for the whole family.
Only note, I think i'll change it a little to be less gender biased and one day i'd like to finish the kill your roomate sequence, but that'll be some time. the game is definately complete without it though.

2. The Sasquatch Game: for all around being a great game, the Sasquatch game really gets you into the story, is truly fun, I wish it was a bit longer and there were a few more VIABLE options in it, but all and all this game is a masterpiece. The best part about it: after I ended it one way I was looking over my shoulder afraid. That's a sign of a good game!

3. Adventures with Raven - This game is fabulous, and one of the most awe inspiring games on the website. It's not particularly long, but very well thought out and very easy to get into. Unlike ramanyan, which i found to be a great game as far as education and content, but hard to truly feel like you're INTO the game, Raven manages to make you feel like you're actually a part of it.

4. Jurassic Fairview Park, though difficult to follow at times, though in desperate need of a word processor, though very difficult, has a very special place in my heart, was worked on EXCEPTIONALLY hard, years were actually put into that game. When there is time to play it, it's absolutely a FABULOUS game and one that deserves to be in the top 5 for fun, excitement, use of items, complexity etc. I'll always love this game.

5. Number 5 has been the hardest to pick. Anamandar is great, fabulous in fact but I will not include it because it's not finished, it's just a demo. It has potential to be the best or second best on the site. Adventures in Lisa Land and Dogs of war are both great games, but too short and lacking that extra UMPH that makes a good game great. The Fairview High School Game, though special in many ways, is somewhat outdated, in fact I haven't actually played it in over 2 years so there's something to be said about that.
So for number 5 my vote certainly goes to Blunder Brain Bob Baldwin of Baltimore In: No Escape, for size of the game, use of pictures, and overall good time.

But thank you everyone who has made a game, and keep making them because the best game is gonna get 100 Buckaroos!!
Alex P we all wait on your top 5 list.

Good List,
but i'd change it a little bit, I'd take out Blunder Brain Bob Baldwin and put in Chess Master Stan. Jurassic Fairview Might be past it's prime too... maybe not belong on the front page. Instead how about Insult Eminem by BinLaden, or Keep adventures in Lisa Land??

Yeah I'd have to agree -- this is definately one of my favorites! Again great work on it. I hope you are able to stick around while this website begins growing.

please tell me whats your pick on top 5

Yes even along with your game pick four others that should be on the top 5 games. All of you guys please respond.

I would say Finals week is probably the most all around good game, because there are so many outcomes and it takes skill and there's a puzzle, along with objects to pick up.

The black hand game would be number two if you want numbers I'm not sure. It's short it's easy to play and it's fun and very educational and I really love the pictures.

I think out of all the phantasy games Lodins quest is probably the most pure game in this genre the rest are good but their more funny. And well thats good and all but I just like Lodins Quest, and would like to see another one or whatever.

My game the Sasquatch game I think it's really good and and it's more fun than educational, because its based more on hearsay than factual evudence is not in the same leauge as educational but you do learn stuff yadda yadda there's character development , my game is artwork, how come no one leaves a comment?

Then theres ramanyan and Adventures with Raven, in both games you play a God and at the same time you learn about I guess different cultures, religions, there both awesome plus they are shorter and good to put on top 5 because, alot of people might want to play real long games. These games are about even for me. Maybe raven a little better made as far as story and gameplay.

I'm not sure what I think of the Bin Laden games he/ or she seems dedicated to the site and I don't want to offend anyone but that multi player however clever really made angry when I beat the game.
How is that for a top 5

Palio deserves a spot among the top 5 i'm starting to think. I still say Black hand, though good, is just too short and not as fun.

perhaps it would be good to have a link to "previous top 5 games" where you show what games were popular in the past. That way, you could highlight new, or often played current games, without discounting the quality of games that used to be in the top 5, or something.
