Crack the Case #2

A man's body is found in a Highschool. He was found in an office with a book in his hands. He was stabbed. The book was opened to the last page of Frankenstein. The police figured out the murdered man's clue and arrested the correct killer who confessed. What you need to figure out is...

1. Who killed him

2. Why he was killed

3. What was the clue found in the book.

good luck.

Crack the Case #2

whether or not the book was a library book is irrelevant. as for your second question... its not a yes or not question lol nor is it specific? what person are you refering to? the dead person or the killer?

nate

Could the victim read?

Was the knife found?

Crack the Case #2

did the victim work at the school? sort of.

could the victim read? yes

was the knife found? irrelevant really.

nate

Crack the Case #2

Was the victim from a commission that bans books?

Was the victim killed because he wanted to ban Frankenstein as high school literature?

Crack the Case #2

no to both your questions. ill give you all a hint. you get three hints per case.

the victim was a student.

nate

Crack the Case #2

second hint please?

Crack the Case #2

Was the killer a superintendant?

Crack the Case #2

Did the killer work at the school?

Crack the Case #2

Did the victim write anything in the book?

Does the trail of blood you mentioned earlier lead anywhere?

Did the victim write the name of the murderer in the book?

Did the victim write the clue in the book?

Crack the Case #2

Did the victim write anything in the book? no

Does the trail of blood you mentioned earlier lead anywhere? it leads to the dead body lol. the trail starts in the gym locker room though. so, to mention a previous question, it happened near lockers. but not right next to them necessarily. however, forget about lockers, they are irrelevant.

nate

Crack the Case #2

was the killer a superintendant? no

did the killer work "AT" the school? sometimes. but he didnt work "FOR" the school.

nate

Crack the Case #2

Yeah, I knew the blood led to the body, I meant where did it come from..so yeah, gym locker room.

Was the victim found naked?

Were the victim's clothes wet?

Was there anything on the victim's body, anywhere, that could identify the killer?

Did the killer hold a white collar job?

Did the killer hold a blue collar job?

Did the killer animate dead bodies from body parts?

This is frustrating b/c I have too many questions.

Crack the Case #2

was the victim found naked? irrelevant really

were the victims clothes wet? irrelevant, other than his own blood i guess, but thats not important either.

was there anything on the victims body that could identify the killer? just the book turned to the Last Page.

did the killer hold a white collar/Blue collar job? ill go ahead and say he was doing illegal activities.

did the killer animate dead bodies from body parts? gross! lol no i dont think so.

nate

Crack the Case #2

does anything in the case have to do with the book "frankenstein", what I mean by that is, would it make a difference if it was the last page of... the bible, or the Davinci code?

Crack the Case #2

Is the killer employed at the school?

Crack the Case #2

was the killers name Frank?

did the person kill himself.

Crack the Case #2

the dead man is the Killer, the victim is a student, who killed the killer for trying to kill him. perhaps he wrote a message in the book after killing the man, in the blanc page at the back of the book, to say what had happened.
is that even close? or am I way off?

Crack the Case #2

oh wait, the clue in the book, it was the students book, and it had his name in the back.

Crack the Case #2

Just to make that understandable.

A student killed the man, because he attacked him, the clue in the book was the name of the student.
I think ... fingers crossed.

Crack the Case #2

Paul's on to something there.

1. The boy was the killer, as he committed suicide.
2. He killed himself because he was sad about the book.
3. His name was at the back of the book. Maybe Frank.

Crack the Case #2

DUDE I THINK WE MIGHT HAVE IT.

Crack the Case #2

who do you think is right?

Crack the Case #2

You guys pretty much have the same thing but octobers is clearer.

Crack the Case #2

no, he said the boy killed himself, I said the boy killed a man who was trying to get him.

Crack the Case #2

then howd he end up dead?

Crack the Case #2

ok obviousely i didnt do it clear

1. the killer is a student from the school

2. the man was Killed because he tried to Attack the Student (the student retaliated and stabed him)

3. the dead mans clue was the book belonging to the student, which had the students name in the back of it.

Crack the Case #2

OH I GET IT OMG YEAH UR RIGHT.

Crack the Case #2

But the victim who got killed was a student, not a man.

Crack the Case #2

well near the beguining, nate said that the dead MAN, was not a student at the school, he than gane the hint that the victim was a student. that how I got my story, the student was attacked (making him the victim), he then killed the man who was after him. Since the man was stabbed in the gym, maybe he was taking photos, or trying to watch the boy. or just simply atacked him.

Crack the Case #2

Oh.. I get you. You've got it.

Crack the Case #2

Nate you should make a game of his on here. You could use a varible: GUESSES. Have like 3 or 5 guesses. Then there would be like 10 links of questions that are relevant to the case. You would need to choose three of the best, and the choose who and how it was done out of like 10 links at the end. If you got enough info from the 3 rounds of questions before, you should have the case cracked. What do you think? Hey, 3J feel free to come up with a better idea of doing.

Crack the Case #2

WOW, ALOT HAS OCCURED SINCE I LAST LOGGED ON LOL... HERE ARE MY ANSWERS TO EACH OF THE QUESTIONS AND GUESSES...

"does anything in the case have to do with the book "frankenstein", what I mean by that is, would it make a difference if it was the last page of... the bible, or the Davinci code?"

Answer: the book of Frankenstein is not necessarily important. Most every book has this on the last page.

Is the killer employed at the school?
No, the killer is not employed by the school. however, he does conduct "business" at the school.

was the killers name Frank?
No, the killer's name is not frank.

did the person kill himself.
no, the person was murdered by another person.

the dead man is the Killer, the victim is a student, who killed the killer for trying to kill him. perhaps he wrote a message in the book after killing the man, in the blanc page at the back of the book, to say what had happened.
is that even close? or am I way off?
I have no idea if you are way off or not. lol i dont understand it.

A student killed the man, because he attacked him, the clue in the book was the name of the student.
I think ... fingers crossed.

a student did not kill another man. you have it backwards lol

1. The boy was the killer, as he committed suicide.

No.
2. He killed himself because he was sad about the book.

no.
3. His name was at the back of the book. Maybe Frank.

no

the killer is a student from the school
no
2. the man was Killed because he tried to Attack the Student (the student retaliated and stabed him)
no
3. the dead mans clue was the book belonging to the student, which had the students name in the back of it.

But the victim who got killed was a student, not a man.
not correct. the "victim" was not a student.

Now, apparently there is some confusion so ill list the facts as we know them right now...

1. The dead person is NOT a student.

2. the book, Frankenstein, is not important. the last page of the book IS important.

3. The dead person, who is NOT a student, was stabbed. He then crawled from the locker room somewhere else.

4. It did happen in the school. the stabbing that is.

5. What he was wearing is not important.

There are other facts, but lets run with these for now. till i get more time.

Clues,

what does the last page of any book, atleast most, have?

If the victim is in a locker room, who could he be talking to?

Crack the Case #2

is the dead man one of the cleaners?

Crack the Case #2

Did the author visit the school?

Crack the Case #2

Does the last page of the book include the blurb (the little excerpt on the back of the book)?

Crack the Case #2

CLUE ALERT!!!!!!!

THE BOOK IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE THE DEAD PERSON IS TRYING TO POINT OUT "THE END". NOW, PUT THAT TOGETHER WITH WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD BE HANGING OUT IN A LOCKER ROOM. MAYBE AN ATHELETE?

NATE

Crack the Case #2

Maybe he had just ended his race.

Crack the Case #2

does that mean an athleat killed him?

Crack the Case #2

I'm out.  This one is too confusing.

Crack the Case #2

I'm with you, havvy. Flesh, here's what you said earlier in the thread:

no to both your questions. ill give you all a hint. you get three hints per case.

the victim was a student.

nate

Then, later, you say to clear things up, the dead person is not a student. So unless the victim and dead person are different people, which makes no rational sense whatsoever, I'm pretty confused. I'm out!

Crack the Case #2

MY DEEPEST APOLOGIES TO EVERYONE. OVER THE COURSE OF THIS CASE I DID START GETTING SOME FACTS MIXED UP AND WAS UNABLE TO SALVAGE IT. SCHOOL, AMONG OTHER THINGS, CAUSED ME TO NOT THINK CLEARLY. THIS CASE IS NOW CLOSED. MAYBE WHEN THINGS SLOW DOWN FOR ME ILL TRY ANOTHER ONE.

Crack the Case #2

ok, well heres the whole story...

a boy on the highschool football team was confronted by someone who regularly dealt illegal drugs (steriods) to the team players. the football player, the tight end, ends up killing the drug dealer when the drug dealer wants to raise prices. the tight end stabs teh man and runs. the drug dealer is still alive however and crawls to the coaches office where he pulls down a book. on the last page is The End. hence, The Tight End. anything else?
