Are there any of these types of games, I am looking for something a bit remeniscent of game of thrones/a song of ice and fire

Warlords: Strategic Conquest

There is the conquest part in the story. Not to much Game of Thrones type politics.

Ive already played it, good game, im looking for a story like that, but with a bit more politics and backroom deals

This is very incomplete but I wrote it a few years ago and then gave up and deleted it. It's sort of game-of-thronesy. There are 75 pretty large pages, and a couple of endings. Give it a go.

Yeah, I just went into the game properties page and there's no option to enable sneak preview. Alexp is sneaky, but overall, that's probably a good feature.

Well I mean, it being deleted would normally mean it's gone. I know when I deleted my storygames they disappear forever.

Being able to see deleted ones is probably a mod feature.

There's an admin storygame search and that's how I got to the game properties page.

Nope. I get a big red error page saying storygame doesn't exist.

Damn. And one thing admins can't do is change ownership of storygames.

You can't just undelete it then set it to be previewed enabled?

Or do you not want people seeing you wrote it or something?

I can't undelete it, is what I'm trying to say. When you delete a game, it transfers it to a specific user account for deleted games, and admins can't transfer games.

Ohhh, I get it.

Shame you didn't just ignore it rather than full out deleting it. From what others said when they tested it (however long ago that was), it was pretty interesting.

The plot is pretty decent and my writing is better than it was on OMS but the characters need work and it's a little too similar thematically to GoT, IMO. I had just watched the first season when I wrote it and I think that worked its way into my subconscious haha.

Hmm, can you use admin swapping password powers to access that account and just add yourself as a co-author?

Terrible solution.

Clearly what needs to be done here is we must all be given mod powers so we can read the story.

Damn, I just wasted more than an hour reading through that to an ending that's actually written. The pacing is all wrong and the characters are a tiny bit too shallow, but it's not too bad. I wish I'd put more emotional weight into significant events like Tyler and Felix.

There was a bug where you could see deleted games a while ago. I suppose that was fixed.
