I've puttered around too long without knowing, and I'm tired of it.

Would some kind soul please explain how to make a clickable link around here.

While we are at it, somebody out to throw up a quick article on how use the text features without the awful RTE.

Without using the RTE, as I remember, you do this I think:

<a href="the link you want">the text you want</a>

Though if you're lazy like me and use the RTE for posting on the forums, there's a button near the Background Color button called "link" which lets you put in a link which then makes it clicky.

Doesn't make it fancy though since its the actual address rather than putting it in neater text form, but it works.

EDIT: Yeah it works.

The only annoying thing about using html is that if you include a link in a forum post or use italics or whatever then you have to put in tags for line breaks and spaces between paragraphs as well.

[br][br] but with the greater than/less than signs instead of brackets.

Or [br /][br /] as the kids do now but, idk why since all it does is give you more characters to type.
