Just bought this as I walked past a bookstore since it looked interesting. Already, I'm pleasantly surprised by how convincingly Ian Morris justifies his points. Also there's a cool hypothetical at the beginning where China takes over the British Empire, not before destroying the whole Royal Navy - which is all wrapped up in this segment where a massive Chinese battleship enters a defeated London. Has anyone here read this? If not, I think this'll be a nice read for anyone wanting to read up on some history (or something like that).
