Help With Action Movies

I've been getting into a very specific type of action movie lately. You know the movies where someone is pretty much an ordinary guy who gets caught up in extraordinary events, would prefer not having to go through it, but ends up kicking ass based almost completely on improvisation and luck? I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions for movies along those lines. I guess pretty much movies like Die Hard, but aren't complete rip-offs of it. Thanks in advance.

There's a movie I remember with Chris Evans called Cellular. That's about an ordinary guy forced into a fight with Jason Statham and his guys.

There's collateral damage with Arnold Schwarzenegger. About a firefighter taking revenge on some terrorists who killed his family.

Crank is my favorite action film of all time and kind of fits that criteria...

Other great ones are:

Mad Max (1979) - Tied with Crank for my favorite.

The Road Warrior (1981) - Sequel to Mad Max. Also amazing.

The Transporter trilogy - Quality films.

Oldboy (2003) - One of the best films ever made. More thriller than action but still has a great deal of fighting and bloody scenes. If this was considered a "full" action film, it would be my favorite. Highly, highly recommended.

I love the Transporter series and enjoyed Cellular more than I thought I would. I pretty much have seen almost every Jason Statham movie in the last few years, I generally enjoy his movies (Killer Elite was badass) Mad Max is one of those movies I've been planning on seeing for a while but haven't quite gotten around to sitting down and watching. Thanks everyone, any other ideas?
