Hello! I like story games ^_^

I also like to help out where I can, so if you ever need someone to proofread a story game for you, just let me know.

Storygames

Disney Trivia Quiz

So you think you know your Lion Kings from your Little Mermaids? Take the Disney Trivia Quiz and see how much of a cartoon junkie you really are.

A very big thank you to Aman for proofreading. ^_^

Marvel Adventure

This is game that I made with my nephew. He's six years old and he really, really likes Marvel Superheroes. (I might've helped with the writing a little bit, but he came up with the stories all by himself.) ^_^

Quest for the Holy Grail

A noble quest based on the film Monty Python's Holy Grail. This game is completely pointless and is basically me playing around with the Advanced Editor to see how it works. Hope it's fun anyway!

Featured Story The Price of Freedom: Innocence Lost

You are 10 years old when you first feel the weight of shackles around your wrists. In a matter of hours, your whole world is turned upside down as you are dragged away from your home in Greece to work as a slave in the Roman Empire.
Now you must struggle for survival. Every decision you make will affect your future. Will you make friends or enemies? Will you submit to your masters or fight your every command? Will you sell your soul to earn your freedom, or sacrifice everything for the people you love? Will you even survive long enough to see the sun rise?

Tower of Riddles

Updated version, same game less spelling mistakes. Huge thanks to BerkaZerka for play-testing! ^_^

You are trapped in an medieval tower dungeon, which is never a good way to start your day. Luckily there seems to be a secret passage for you to escape through. All you have to do is solve a few riddles and you're free as a bird. Easy right? Just so long as you don't get a riddle wrong, then you die a horrible death... Good luck!

(It is definitely possible to win this game, once you figure out how.)

Murder at the Manor
unpublished

Four mysteries in one. A man has been murdered in his stately home in the country and you have only four suspects. Can you figure out who the killer is? Well guess again... And again... And again! Because the killer is selected at random at the beginning of every game.

Note: This game was originally made for a competition put together by Morgan R where writers had to make the best game they could in a day. Unfortunately, I didn't get the game finished in time, so never got around to publishing it, but I stumbled across it a few months later and decided it was worth finishing. So here it is, hope you enjoy ^_^

Test 2
unpublished

Hi guys! Don't bother reading this, it's not a game I'm just doing some testing to see what variables factor into game length. I'll unpublish it again soon.

Maybe it's just the old Warrior Cats crowd , desperately latching on to whatever cat related content the site produces. cheeky

I suppose it could've been both. Kids are starting work so young these days. cheeky

This one time, I got crazy drunk and hooked up with a minor ^_^

Edit: ... Sorry, did I say minor? I meant miner. A guy who works in a mine. He was all dirty and covered in coal. It was weird.

Noticed that the other thread was starting to get pretty long, so figured I'd make a new one. Been reading through the comments of POF today, and here are a few of my favourites:

parts of it were hard to understand. I come from a Christian background so the concept of slavery and forcing children to kill is foreign to me, let alone, it being acceptable in ancient times. certain liberties were taken I assume. gladiators were men, not children and I highly doubt a master would allow a child to fight in the arena

... Considering he comes from a "Christian background", the guy's obviously never opened a bible if he doesn't understand the concept of slavery.

this shiz is pretty kool dood did this instead of homwork lol thx for the good me me's

I just like the irony in this one.

It was nice except for one thing...it didn't have a dolphin.

Yeah, yours was shit.

I'm usaully a silent reader, but this story changed that. I laughed, I raged, I nearly cried, God I felt like I was there! And not just becausethe story was in second person! Please don't see my comment as a fake, "pay me to make you look good" type of thing. This is a genuine response and I've honestly never been this into a story! YOU HAVE TO READ IT! I could see this as an actual hardcover book! Even a movie! Love the author keep up the good work! Love love LOVE this story! XOXOXOXO Also, to whoever is reading this, please understand I'm not being paid to write this comment! (I tend to say "I wonder how much he/she got paid to wtite that..." when I read comments for anything lol so I'm just putting that out there for anyone who's like me!

And then just sit back and watch how long it takes to get perma-banned. cheeky

The Lawless Ones on 2/19/2018 4:12:31 AM

Yeah, but the game doesn't specify whether you're talking about sex or gender.

The Lawless Ones on 2/18/2018 5:35:17 PM

Yeah, I definitely find that. I tried to be as inclusive as I could with this game, adding options to be transgender or non-binary, but I did actually get complaints from people that my extremely respectful and inclusive options weren't respectful and inclusive enough. A couple of people suggested that instead of saying. "I don't identify as male or female" for the non-binary option, I should instead say "I am neither male nor female", because apparently, saying "I identify as" implies that it's not actually true.

I stood firm and kept the choices as they are, though. I really didn't want to go with the whole "I am not male or female" thing, since a lot of people have no idea what non-binary actually is, and saying "I am neither male nor female" would probably just make people think that the character was an alien, or a robot or something. cheeky

The Lawless Ones on 2/18/2018 5:26:16 PM

Actually, as far as gender goes, the only rule for CoG games is that you have to have an option to be male and an option to be female. Transgender/Non-binary options aren't a must-have, but they are considered a bonus.

The Lawless Ones on 2/18/2018 7:50:10 AM

Oh, the story is finished. Just sharing the demo to see what people think of it. The game is 15 chapters all together. ^_^

The Lawless Ones on 2/18/2018 7:48:04 AM

Uhh... Yep, pretty much. cheeky
