This is very impressive -- it definitely feels like a book yet has some very nice interactivity. Well written. As you can see from my score, I did not do so well, but I will try again -- I think there's some definite replayability as I realize I missed a lot of side quests.

I came across a handful of frusterating bugs in the latter part of the game (the Orc negotiating did not work and caused an undending loop), but I did manage to make it through. Few spelling/typos here and there, but those didn't hurt the game play. But, the bugs/typos did more it away from a perfect 8. Still, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Spelling , grammer and typos need to be improved but over all an awesome game :)

Also, the first time I took the quiz, it says I got less than 8 right. So I restarted the quiz. I changed only 1 answer, then I got 10 right? LOL

Well done. I don't think I actually deserved the score I got, seeing as I would go back if I made a choice that killed me, but it was fun. If I hadn't done that it would have been fun to play several times trying different choices.

I went through this earlier today and forgot to rate it... and this time I only got the poor finisher because I kept dying to the cannibals. Very well done.

Wow! Amazing game! I loved all the little side-quests and details you placed everywhere. The whole game felt like a well written interactive book. As you can see from my score, I beat the game and got the best possible ending, but I am still gonna replay this! While there were a few problems like the Orc negotiating and a few typos, it was still overall an amazing game!

Too damn buggy, I couldn't play the creek and half of the side quests weren't playable, other than that great game

it sucks that you cant win without haveing all ten wepons but other then that it was pretty good

It was a little frustrating at first, especially with the typos and random bugs. (Whenever I clicked "restart test," there was no way to move forward after answering all the questions. I ended up having to backtrack manually several times. And there was a point where I couldn't get into the Treasury even with the note.) My score went into the negatives a few times. But it was fun overall. Good job, JJJ-thebanisher.

It was a great read/play. I did get bugged in cannibal creek though so had to use the back button to get out and bypass it (after entering the waterfall all options jumped me to the Use LONGBOW option screen so I couldnt leave). Apart from that great.

It was good, nice plot twist at the end. I just personally couldn't really get into it.107318

Fun, but hard

So much fun and an easy storyline to follow!

Very cool,I finally found a way to all the quests on the orc highway after 4 whole tries on the game.What you do is you do the orc quest,then the rat quest,leave the guy,then go back and do the key quest.

keeps going backwards in some parts,so you are only able to do 2/3 of the things quests during the mountain.

great Game! Although there were a few bugs. I ended up with 11 weaponskill in the end.

Good story, loved it, even if I had to cheat using the back button. I was stuck in the endless cannibal loop , had to start over because I couldn't get the lvl 10 weapon, got back all the way to shadow land and had to fight the big Orc twice ( which made me level up and got me the last lvl up)

Fun story - a few kinks in it though

The game was fun! Surprisingly, the hardest part was figuring out at the beginning of the game that I had to click on an item to possess it... THAT took me a good 20 minutes-- I kept wondering why I couldn't see the sword that I supposedly had.

The first game I didn't die a billion times in. I actually finished too!

Pretty decent game. I liked the obstacles and only now do I truly appreciate the backwards button. Kinda bummed that I couldn't get a better score though...

So this game is fantastic and I may or may not have left a comment before I cannot remember I just wanted to say I played this game so many times through without beating it so I used your walkthrough on the forums so alas I am a cheater oh well Great game

Yay! I survived. This was a great story and game. Loved the orc who tries to steal my money.

While not too bad, the story was basically non-existent. A little more background and maybe some more character interaction would have been nice.
Also, many times, it was impossible to carry out an action. After I got the two letters from my father, I could neither visit the barracks, nor the treasury, as either option (or any other) would always take me to a certain district. This would have also been game over, if not for the backspace button. Same problem happened later with the cannibal I shot with the longbow. Killed it, but no way back to the road, as I was always teleported back to the cannibal scene.

So to sum up, I actually don't think I had any chance of finishing better than poor :)

There were a couple spots where I seemed to go in circles.. I couldn't manage to go to the barracks, it would just bring me back to the wine district; I finally did by going to the blacksmith, where there was a mistyped option to show my note (even though it said that no one was there)? There was another place that the same sort of thing happened.. I forget where, now, I feel like it was catching the rats? Maybe? Good game, though! =]

So i started this story several times, dont ask me why i didnt use the save feature, *shiver*, but only just now finished it. It was pretty good, all in all. Its way more of a game, and Normally i dont like that, but this was refreshing actually. :/

This was an excellent game with an interesting setting and a good battle system. The side quests were fun. Some of the side characters could have been give more depth.

Best game I've played so far. It's a perfect balance of story and game, and despite the fact that I strongly dislike fantasy, this game is awesome. 8/8

Overall I enjoyed the game. The random results for hunting were a bit frustrating, and betting at the track was pretty easy to abuse. Aside from that though I did feel genuinely rewarded for my choices and found the game to be worth my time.

Wow. What an extensive game. That was really fun even though i should have gone to bed an hour ago. The typos were a bit distracting but not enough to make the same boring. The game was very fun, and I enjoyed the story behind it.

Nice, long and involved. Can't say it was hard, exactly, but I don't really mind. I really liked this game. The biggest problem I had with it was the numerous spelling mistakes.

Solid game I had 8/10 weapons

An excellent game that's well worth the playthrough. After a lot of deaths and a medium rated playthrough, I attempted to hunt down as many side quests as possible this last time, which was a lot of fun and finally netted me a score of over 100K. The Tower was extremely engaging with a decent plot, fun gameplay, and a plenty of things to do. Other than a few additional grammatical and spelling fixes, there's no improvements that I can think of, making this a well earned "8" in my books.

Finally! I have to say, this is my favorite 3J game on the site. OMS is great, but this is my favorite. Great game, 8/8. I'd rate it higher if I could. It's funny, it took me 42 tries (counting) to get a sparrow, but 2 to get a Galeine. You win epically, you lose epically. Good job 3J.

For a good five hours I played the tower. The game is awesome along with its features, but it desperatly needs to be fixed. JJJ I will email all the errors I got.

Hmm... What can I say? Fantastic gameplay built around a superb story structure. Contains a few spelling and mechanical errors (such as the repeated use of "apon" for "upon") but not insomuch as to decrease the play value. It's kind of surprising that I got the best ending with hardly any effort (I didn't know the grape to wine to jewellery side-quest would have such an impact on the ending!), but I guess my completionist tendencies paid off!!

Well, as I said, great game! I can't wait to read the encyclopedia you wrote!

I. Am. Stumped.
It looks like no matter what I do, the orcs take my money and I can't afford any weapons afterwards. I get to the Towar and pass the quizz, but I can only attack him with a mortal weapon...Dammit.

I finished!! Oh yeah!! But I got the poor ending... I'll play again sometime, I WILL get that good ending.

Bravo! I think this is your best game by far. I explained in the forums how Mattias was childish, this is more mature and enjoyable. Some scenes were rushed, and it seemed as if more could have been done to them. The ending was really a downer considering it took me 45 minutes to play through. I gave it a 6/8 mainly because of the ending. I think i have the "good" ending so thats not such a downer lol. I would not consider it an epic. I also mentioned in the forum that the Track was buggy, and your death scenes need to be more realistic. I know you said not to mention it in the comments, but honestly, it does weaken the game, if you like, i can discuss with you how to make it seem more realistic.

Overall: 6/8 Well Done!

Awesome game! I finally figured out how to get the weaponskill at the troll canyon, although it is unexpected. There were a few glitches, and I spent nearly an hour trying to catch a Galeine, but this game is worth an eight out of eight. A few areas (the later districts of Sanctum, for instance) look a bit rushed, and although the game isn't as long as I thought it would be, you've done a great job and proved linear games are better than non-linear ones. Good effort.

Wonderful, epic story. Many things to do, secret things to figure out, side quests left and right, and a nice combat system. Great writing and most importantly, a lot of fun. I got the best ending! I have some questions about certain things in the story, but I don't want to ruin it for any players. Excellent job Triple J, excellent job. Well worth the wait man.
