So apparently there's weird shit going on in Chinese text books. I know Will teaches in China (Dunno what grade) so I want to know why he's been holding out on this treasure chest of creepy hilarity.

I thought that first pic was pretty weird too until End told me these were all siblings and the boys were just licking sweat off their sister's arm. As people do.

I love out of all the bad and weird stuff China does this is the one that got your interest :D I teach English using American or British books, which btw have all been pirated or stolen and are super cheap, so I have no idea what weirdness they teach in the Chinese schools. I do know some of the parents of students I teach need to pay the teachers of their children protection money not to hit or punish their kids with stuff like extra homework and detentions so softcore porn of sweat loving siblings probably gets a pass. Hope you are all doing good btw

Well all their usual human rights violations like rounding people up and censoring criticism about the government are pretty standard for them, so this one stood out.

Really China, I expect this kind of behaviour from Japan, not from the guys who made it illegal to suggestively eat a banana.

As usual I focused on the reality with the sibling licking rather than the morality of it.

Namely that girl's brothers are WAY too damn dark. They're her half siblings at best. Their dad had to be from the south east Asia region. Hell, he might have even been Indian.

Now you mention that China has a real racism thing. There are plastic surgery hospitals where a lot of Chinese people, especially rich women, go to make themselves whiter because in China pale skin is beautiful and dark skin is ugly and means you work out in the sun a lot, a bit like rednecks in the US. They have before and after pictures of the same person looking dark and then looking white, a bit like young and old Michael Jackson. The pic could be saying do not let these guys near our white girls or they will lick all their sweat away. Or something like that.

I think the artists behind those books just had some weird fetishes though. China is a bit like Japan or Germany where social repression and hard working hours leads to quirky creativity in the bedroom. I kinda imagine in North Korea where you have to have one of about six approved socialist friendly hairstyles they have nights of bacchanlian bizarreness but nobody knows about it because they do not have any internet. It would be interesting to see what the North Korea textbooks look like!

I figure Evil Doer Korea just has text books with pictures of Kim Jong Un all over them.

And the Chinese text books are filled with pictures of Winnie the Pooh. ^_^
