Player Comments on Outdoor Odyssey
I enjoyed reading the descriptions of the campsite as well as how the player felt. It gave a more realistic feel as well as made the player think more of what option to pick that would be better for the player to do because of how they are feeling. The storyline was in engaging since they are trying to find a dear friend. I liked how the options ranged from two to three so they differed in making the story line go many different ways.

The story was nice overall with good dialogue. Maybe the thing that kinda lost me for a second in the story was the mentioning of so many characters names but we only get to talk to two, to confirm that the missing character arrive with us before going missing. I did feel that I had enough agency when it came to playing the story. for some sections I felt that i had enough information of what I should do, while in others I didn't. But that makes senses because in those situation you have to go with your intuition even when you don't have lot of information .

good use of agency. Plenty of options to choose from on the pages rather than just "continue".
Listing all the names of the people at the beginning had me worried that I might need to remember them for parts coming up in the story. I almost wrote them down before continuing. Maybe just leave it at "this couple" "another couple" so people aren't thinking the information is important to the story.

The story was engaging, I was curious about how it would end. I felt like my decisions mattered and that I was given enough information to make decisions. I really enjoyed this!

I really liked the story! I think it was engaging and entertaining. Great descriptions, they made me feel part of the story.
Overall, it felt like I had control over the story even if some options were arbitrary. In addition, the choices were not blind, each one of them had a good introduction and explanation, therefore, I was able to make a conscious decision.
Great! :)
