You can highlight the pink text with your mouse. That will make the text dark blue which is easier on your eyes.

The pink text threw me; I could barely read it. Also, there's no need to keep saying HE/HER. Finally, there's no discernible background and I died without understanding how.

That is a random adventure. Mabey you should use your rich text adventure and make something less linear.
