That went beyond being bad. That actually made me angry. That was like playing a terrible storygame that you can't stop playing because the author is a jerk. Forcing someone to play through something well-written is entirely different.

Is there any background story on this sudden war? I think that would be a pretty good improvement, but it wouldn't make it the best ever.

Rommel: The "baddies" were in the enemy fort. Your teammates never even left the fort. So you thought that you were killing your own teammates? My brother HAD to spoil the game for everyone... I hate you for that... ;) and uhh good job Rommel for beating the game cause it sure as heck sucked. ;)

Okay, if you're going to be cynical about the military go the whole way, not some half-hearted attempt like this. If you're in a training exercise, You probably wouldnt kill soldiers from the same army unless there's a stated reason (ie the leaders are arseholes). You also wouldnt think of them as "baddies". Seriously. A whole world of moral dilemmas out there and its just you and the "baddies". Finally, you need to stop giving players consequences that had nothing to do with their choice.
