There are plenty people who want to read and give some tips.

It's good, real good or perhaps I say it out of excitement for seeing another gothic horror entry, but reading it made me smile.

I would have given it a higher score if you were to finish it. Plus I do think that the introduction of all your siblings were a little clunky, especially since they didn't matter that much in the broad scheme of the story. (You for example didn't need to name them. I would advise to focus more on the protag's relation with their dad, since he was the one who is about to be killed off in the beginning)

Plus: Garrett and Caleb could have been fleshed out a little more, but we'll see whether it happens in the unwritten chapters.

I like the action scènes. Love the way how you kept up the tension and overall tone pretty well. What I do want to see more is how the city looks like (it's probably a victorian city, so things do smell depending on the season)
