Player Comments on Torch (an Unfinished Experiment)

Just wanted to say that I think the reason you've gotten a 4 so far isn't because of any flaws in the story but just because the game is unfinished. :)

I like it! It's weird yet entertaining. Where can you go from there I don’t know, but I'd definitely like to find out!

Cool beans. Again, thank you for commenting! Now I need to meditate on how exactly I'm going to put supernatural elements in. I'll take this down later today, fix at least one typo, and continue writing. One more thing, though: none of these comments are scathing, so how'd I get a 4? It doesn't matter greatly since I'm going to un-publish this anyway, but still. Bah.

@Briar, Something like Howl's Moving Castle's fire spirit? could lead to a twist of somebody eating you for power i guess.

I've got to say, when I read "Finally, a game in which the only things you can do are burn and more burn" I was thinking... "Oh dear." That said, I was pleasantly surprised. The writing was good and strangely enough I found the story pretty interesting considering the main character was a flame. I definitely think a supernatural element to the story would help. Maybe if the flame in question was some kind of fire spirit. Something like Ariel, the spirit from Shakespeare's Tempest that loves causing mischief for mortals. That way the fire would have an actual personality and I'd be a lot more interested in the outcome of the story.

I won't rate it until it's finished but i love the idea of being a torch/flame on a torch. The description, while a bit vauge was good and the small bits of story i could find got my attention.
So all in all good job, i hope you finish this soon.
