You find it funny that you choose to wake up to such an annoying sound every single morning. It always seems to sound the worst on Monday morning, knowing that you get to hear that damned beeping for 4 more days until the sweet 2 day escape known as the weekend.
You kiss your wife, Steph, before attempting to crawl pitifully out of bed. You admire how beautiful she looks when she is sleeping; It is still very dark but the neon glow from your alarm clock dimly lights up her naked body.
You stumble your way to the bathroom. You turn on the shower and climb in and as you slowly start to wake up, you go through your agenda for the day:
Go to work from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Go coach wrestling at the local high school from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Go home and do whatever you want for the rest of the night.
Your day is not very eventful, but you feel lucky, nonetheless. You have your health, you have an amazing wife, a wonderful family, and a job that helps pay the bills. It's simple, but to you, it's perfect.
