The sun is out and shinning as you make it home from work. Being a police officer, you knew you would have to work all hours of the day and night, but you was still trying to get used to those brutal night shifts. You make your way inside your home, but before you are even able to take you shoes off, your phone rings. You walk over and answer it.
"Hello?"
A famine voice answers you, "John is that you! O god! Please tell me it’s you!"
You immediately recognize the troubled voice. It was Sarah, your wife.
"Sarah calm down and tell me what’s wrong."
Her voice, trembling with fear, responded. "I..I can't explain what’s going on. I just got to the hospital two hours ago to start my shift and everything was fine." You hear a very loud scream come from the background of the phone and Sarah stops talking and begins to panic. "O god! O god! O god! I'm going to die!"
You try to reassure her that everything will be ok. "Sarah you’re not going to die, just tell me what’s going on over there."
She is silent for a few seconds before she responds with a whisper. "It's the bodies. They are walking around and killing people."
"What? Sarah tell me what’s really going on!"
"I did and...O no...One of them just came in here with me. John, HELP ME!"
The phone cuts off with her scream for help. Sarah said the dead had come back to life? You did not believe this one bit, but something was definitely wrong. You immediately grab your police belt, that contains your pistol, and your police issued tactical shotgun and run to your squad car. You intend to find out the meaning of this.
