Player Comments on Clones Trapped (version 2.0)
While a puzzle like this isn't a bad idea, the execution was somewhat...lacking.
The changing perspectives don't add much as you don't get options to DO anything no matter what player you are. The game is entirely beatable via blind clicking, unless you get stuck in a loop with literally no escape possible. At one point it kept switching me back and forth between player #1 and player #4, getting knocked unconscious over and over with no way to progress.
The first time through I just clicked the first option over and over, got a 'wall' item and then a 'door' item with using them the only option to continue as there were no links. But why did they need to be objects? The function was exactly the same as if there had been a single link there, 'examine the wall' followed by 'open the door' in the next room.
After I spent about forty seconds beating this the first time I went back and clicked around more to make sure I hadn't missed anything, and you really don't seem to be offered a choice or required to solve a puzzle at any point in the game.
If this is remade/expanded/whatever I'd like to see a lot more thought go into how it's actually structured.

Well, to be fair, there is a clickable option to read the background story.

It wasn't necessarily bad. I liked it, but after some time I got exhausted from clicking through the pages because I had lost my interest. Adding in some details and dialogues won't hurt, and it was certainly linear. Your story was short, and making it longer wouldn't hurt either. It was an okay game, but I got extremely bored of it, and I didn't see and as Corgi213 had pointed out, you switched from second person to first.
2/8. Try harder next time.

Why even bother publishing a game if you don't even hold yourself to any standards? The idea is kind of interesting, but its definitely too short, you give away too much info at first to make the story interesting, and you commit the worst sin of all and switch from second person to first person.
I would suggest taking it down and spending a lot more time on it and developing it more. And come up with more backstory than naming a couple of movies or whatever, because not everyone has seen those.
This has potential but just kinda falls flat in multiple ways, so just take some time to work on it.

This was incredibly linear, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but considering that this is a maze game there should probably be different results for different paths. The characters are also a little odd, at least twice they stated something like”this sure looks like a maze” when they were apparently searching the maze for hours. I do enjoy the concept of changing POVs though just try and make each character more different from one another.
