I suppose it was okay.

Somehow I ended up dying, unfortunately for me.

Basically, you get to read this story from two different points of view: from that of a baby dragon whose mother is slain, or from that of a friend of the girl who killed the dragon's mother.

(There is a third option on the opening page labeled simply as "Dead", but if you choose that for the sake of thoroughness this is your literary reward: "Why would you ever press a button called dead. Do you not want to read this? Or are you trying to die? If so you did a good job because you are now dead." That was a very good question; no, I really didn't want to read this.)

The dragon branch ends abruptly and without resolution no matter what you do. You can either die soon after you hatch out of your egg, or live to be 10 years old and die then. Or you can befriend the girl who slew your dragon mother, for reasons that are never satisfactorily explained. Basically, every ending on the "dragon branch" comes just as one would normally assume the story is getting started.

The "person" branch is somewhat more interesting, as there is slightly more branching and a few ways to keep the story going just a tad longer, but again everything ends well before I can find a reason to care. The most implausible story path has me hunting with a friend to engaging in an epic fight with the blink of an eye. I'm not sure where that dragon-slaying sword came from. And presumably that red dragon was the baby from the other branch; whereas she took 10 years to grow on one half of the story, she is an instantaneous fire-breathing lizard of vengeance in the other.

In short, this story was a 2 if you're generous, or a 1 if you just to make this go away after enough ratings. Spelling and grammar issues run rampant. The writers are probably children, but that's no excuse; there are plenty of young people who are willing and talented enough to invest the time to come up with a story that is both engaging and unique.

Also, I don't get how the maturity level is 5/8. Sure, a dragon or a person might get killed, but I don't think that qualifies it to be the equivalent of PG-13.

The idea shows interest but the story's too short. There are grammar errors throughout, and I feel like there wasn't much thought given to this. The endings leave too many loose ends and leave you unsatisfied. It's okay if you just want to burn a few minutes, but not one of my favorites.
