Oh dear. How unfortunate.

A longer (MUCH longer) story with less reliance on random silly things, and definitely more proofreading is going to do a lot better here.

This one is definitely going to wind up unpublished, but, I don't get the sense you spent very long on it anyhow so it's not a huge loss at least.

Remember when writing your next story that there's no rush to publish it. Take as long as needed to make it polished and complete.
