Player Comments on Room Searching
I honestly don't have a problem with storygames that have only the barest bones of a plot. With the phone, the vague hints of a creator behind the maze, and the motivation to escape, I had enough to work with.
However, the maze itself was essentially a succession of arbitrary choices with one path that allowed the reader to progress, whereas all other paths lead to death. There were no puzzles to be solved or added mysteries to uncover, so I was a little underwhelmed when my character suddenly escaped the maze with no more answers that I started with.
So in summary: decent start, sub-par execution, and a somewhat disappointing conclusion. It really just needs to be a longer story, with choices that are more differentiated that just 'left/right/middle'.

Well, this had some random guess choices, and made me randomly guess (obviously) which was bad, and you should have some more plot and character development. I understand that this was one of your first advanced games, but you should put more effort into it or stories like these will discredit writers like you... :/

Well... this was terrible. There was no plot or setting, it wasn't funny, or entertaining, or anything. There didn't seem to be a lot of inspiration behind the game. The motive to create it seemed to be more "I want to make a game" rather than "I have an idea I want to make into a game".

Random deaths and characters called Billy Bob should probably be avoided :PAt least you had a few named characters in the story and something almost approaching a plot at one or two points :) If you reflect deeply can you think of any ways this story could be improved and made more challenging? :D
