Player Comments on The Murder at the Museum

I'm a bit disappointed.
While I enjoyed the aspect of the murder mystery plot and found the setting good enough. The grammar was pretty good, but one of the main things that caught me off guard was the length.

I don't pick up much emotion from these characters. I just don't feel much for them. More detail about the characters in general would have been nice to flesh it out better, but I suppose it was sufficient

I suppose this qualifies as a storygame, but the incredibly short length just makes me feel like I could write something just as good in an hour. The only part that I felt had any effort put in were the silly pointless endings and the detail of the clues.

I'm disappointed in the writing style. Like JMGskills stated, it felt really serious at some points but the endings were silly and make little to no sense. I was entertained through the majority of the story, but at the end you sorta lost me.

Having interrogate and stuff as items and not choices was something I liked. It made it seem more interesting, to me at least :)

But... the very short length and bad endings made me give it a 2/8.

It was a good game. I liked the interrogate/investigate options(Helped me believe I was a detective). I liked that, for the most part, the spelling was good and you added a little humor. Also, I liked that it was a pretty good mystery and that when I used my items most of the time it went to another page.

There were some problems though.

The game was very short(Which in retrospect isn't too bad but left me wanting more). The mystery, though interesting in the beginning, kind of fell off at the end. I know you were going for funny but I thought that this was a serious game(What with a man getting his throat slit) and for it to just end that way was kind of disappointing. Also, to add to the experience, in my opinion, it would have been nice to have pictures.

All in all, it was a good game but some of its flaws held it back.

It's okay but pls make bruce willis's motive revenge because the murdered did something to him.The killing him to protect a target thing that destroys asteirods confused me a bit.

I hated it. It didn't make sense, and it didn't give enough time to solve. It took random people and just put them in there. I hated it

There's no way to actually solve this. Very little choice and doesn't make sense.

I spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out a way to work the game with the items. This isn't very well thought out. I'm not 100% sure if it's because I'm new to this website, or if something really went wrong in the execution of the plan. I love the idea though! I'm also not really amused with the last page. That totally made me question all that I just played, and not in a good way.

They need to tell more.

Nicely done, but it quite short. I enjoyed this murder mystery though, and I'm looking forward to more done by you.

Very cool to have the investigate and interrogate options as items! I really liked that! Pretty short, but enjoyable.

Anyway, I don't know what was up with that ending. It's like you started out with a good story and just gave it a comical ending.

Okay the killer is Bruce Willis... Wait what?

It was fun....until you got to the end. For the first time ever, I'm gonna say I think this would have been nicer if kept with the more serious tone.

i thought what would you do with all the investigate thing.. then it seems you have to accuse someone who did this thing.. and the ending is pfft :( sorry

Above average story. Humor was good. Two improvements would be links to go back to previous parts of the crime scene and instructions on how to play the story game. Could also use a little more strict proofreading.

The awesome ending makes up for the rather linear story. Funnier than I thought it would be
