Player Comments on The Rand'o Quiz

Thanks, I hate it.

Well, hate is a strong word. There are some sections that are actually a little clever, and I wish the rest of the quiz was like that. But of course, this is a “Rand’o Quiz.” If you start playing this thing, just know what you’re getting into.

Alright, I was planning to be a lot harsher in my criticism of this quiz, but for unknown reasons, I decided to be as nice as I can while still explaining why I hate this entry.

First off, a quiz is alway a gross choice for a storygame. A quiz is not a story, no matter how hard you try to make it one. Your quiz didn't really have any story elements except for characters, and those looked like they were only thrown in because you have ADHD or something.

My biggest problem with this quiz was its complete lack of theme, or any kind of theme, coherence, or questions with actual right answers. If you're going to ask people to go back to the beginning if they answer incorrectly, it may be a good idea to have actual questions with answers that are either correct or incorrect.

Also, the marquees, or whatever the proper name for scrolling text is were extremely annoying. I actually never read a single one. They were too slow and it was easier to just hit the answers and "go back" button until I had finished.

That brings me to my final point. I cheated with the "go back" button every time, because I can. Even though I was doing that, this quiz seemed insanely long. Obviously for a story it wasn't, but it was incredibly long for suffering through a "lol random" quiz. I hope to see another actual story from you in the future.
