Player Comments on Survive as a leader
Yeah, it's pretty bad. Gotta agree with Axxius here.

Um Yeah, this story is straight-up broken. There are multiple spelling and grammar errors but that's far from the biggest problem on here.
It looks like someone was experimenting with scripting, items, and variables, and it is a technicolor nightmare with different fonts of texts weird variables in the story, and a slew of dead links. I mean the story just straight up does not continue.
There are too many errors for me to count. It looks like someone was trying to make a zombie survival game kind of like the Dead of Winter board game but in video game form and after figuring out that making a game is really hard unless you know what you're doing they gave up.
I would recommend un-publishing this story not because it's bad narratively but because the start was rough and the dead links and grammar just kill the game.

Ok ... uh... there's a lot that could be said here and I'm short on time at the moment, but let's see if I can do this quick:
First, please try playing your game before posting next time, you may notice some errors / bugs that you wouldn't have caught otherwise. The only thing I'm referring to in this case that I am certain of is that some of your scripting did not work out too well, apparently.
Next, I can see you put a lot of effort into this and that's very good. I like the fact that you included picture gauges of morality and happiness, it's a good game mechanic idea that I myself was planning on using at some point and it's not a common thing around here.
I like the concept of trying to keep things like morality and happiness up for you and for your group. I think it's a good game-play mechanic as well. I do think more could be done with it because I've seen more done with it, but this was good.
I agree that you're approaching the zombie apocalypse from the proper perspective: The greatest problem is not the enemy. It's self and group management. Honestly, regardless of the disaster, if moral dies, you die. It's good, common sense that ... is unfortunately not very common. Again, there's probably more that can be done with it, but I like your way of thinking at any rate.
I was playing the part where you start -really- getting into leadership, but it got a bit ... dull for me, I'm sorry to say. Maybe I'm just not into the concept of building up a base for defense when I could be out fighting the threat, but it felt less active and therefore--to me, maybe only to me--less interesting. The other issue is that that's when scripting errors started to show.
Also, I'd recommend shooting for better graphics if you're going to include pictures of building / street / town layouts and so forth. It's great to have a visual, but a better picture quite often (though not always) makes a clearer concept, savvy?
All in all, it wasn't a great game per se, but it was an excellent first go at this sort of thing. Good effort. 5/8.
