A strange way to spend 15 minutes. I was expecting a search and rescue game but, well, basically managed to wake up from a bizarre dream. It took me a while to find the sword (and many deaths...), but in the end it felt satisfying to murder the creatures that had tormented me.

The difficulty in this story is to find a logical way forward. Many of the options are exceedingly random with draconic consequences. They can be repeated as many times as the player wishes, which feels a bit strange. Additionally, some elements are superfluous. What purpose did the knife and the laser gun serve? You can get through the game without them.

So all in all, the story was definitely creative, but felt like it was completed in a hurry. Keep at it, cMitchell3! ;)

This was a creative idea, but there was no story to it. To me, it just kind of felt like I was running in an infinity band until I beat the game. Also, there wasn't a lot of explanation as to why I did what I did. There was no interaction with anybody else that was there, and I felt like it really didn't stay focused on the mission, finding intelligent life.

Also, when I read that I was supposed to find intelligent life, I noticed that there was nothing to help me do that and nothing to help me contain/transport whatever I found. Even if it was a ruse, stuff like that helps maintain the illusion.

I, personally, would like to know WHY it rains fish. That's not necessary to the essence of the story, but it is cool to find stuff like that out. {But that could be just me}

There wasn't a lot of description on what was there, so I couldn't get a good picture of where I was, or what the environment around me looked like. Same thing with the people I came into contact with. Plus, it seemed like I was SUPPOSED to kill everything -- in the beginning, I was ther to mainly explore, but I didn't save a thing.

My point in saying all of this is that next time you do this, give it some serious thought and effort into what your doing. I don't know how much work you may have put into this already, and this is always going to be a fact for as long as you're writing, but there will always, always, always be something to improve. Is making a game like this easy? Sure. But to make a good one takes time.

Thank you for fixing the game to make it finishable again. Last time I played, the final 'jump' with 'said Item' did not work. Overall, I thought this was a pretty interesting little game. It's still a bit buggy, but I liked it due to the oddity of it all and gave it a solid 5.

Also - I really don't think you need to keep the walkthrough at the beginning (I ended up not using it either). It's fine to have a challenging game - as long as there is actually a way to finish it ;)

This is a good Story! It’s a bit hard to understand at first, but after a while, you can get the hang of it.

Even in a story based around being as trippy as possible, I still feel like there should be a logical internal consistency that can be applied to solve puzzles. I liked some of the mental imagery, but completing the game mostly required pressing every button, as there's no way to think it through.

A thoroughly simple yet extremely bizarre experience with no discernible storyline nor common sense.

This actually kept me pretty well entertained amidst my rating games frenzy.

What the hell was this? It was weird and cool at the same time good job but there are a few bugs in your code.

Fun game, and went through it without using the walk-through. Could add some more side quests though... like a way to feed the man from black room fish? ;)

Hard but fun

I guess this fits into the 'Random Puzzle genre'. I like the premise and the fact that all items and links appear to work however, there were pointless things included (like the lazer gun which may have been intended to be a red-herring?) and one solution seemed to just be random considering the items use any other time caused insta-death on a scale where using seemed pointless.

Still, it was interesting to play so I'll play the next one and see what it is like.

This sucked made no sense at all

It was okay, but certain things shouldn't be able to be repeated, such as the fact that you can kill the man behind the black door over and over and over again. Also, the fish kings castle is still there after being blown up, and the thing that grabs you can be killed infinitly.

Fine, but instead of starting over you could have both that and an End Game link.

Without the walkthrough I probably wouldn't have been able to get through the thing, I feel like the correct choices were pretty random, and that you are able to go through parts again which you really shouldn't be able to.

Who wants to play a nonsensical game confined to logic loops with no rhyme or reason for actions and events?

That was a very random and silly little thingy... But there was clearly effort and it worked decently well.

Believe it or not, I beat it without the walk through. I feel so proud :)
The major problem is that we honestly don't have reasons to use items in certain rooms. it was annoying going everywhere and trying to use the scepter. We also never go to use the laser rifle, which I really wanted to use haha.
I rated it a 6/8 though the author rated it 8 so many times makes me want to give it a 1 to be honest.
Still, good game, nice puzzle, even if it was incoherent. (At least I thought so)

This was a great game. I beat it.
