This was certainly a well-written history lesson of sorts :)
This was enjoyable for the most part. The writing was quite good in this 'storygame' of sorts and the pictures were used well to make this quite more entertaining. Also the quotes in this were a nice added touch to make this a more immersive experience in the end.
But this isn't without its flaws. This really wasn't much of a story, this felt more like a quiz than actual storygame. Because it felt like it was either pick the correct choice or gameover. So that made things feel somewhat linear in a way, but still even with its linearity this was some very descriptive writing.
This was quite informative and entertaining, I only wish that there was a bit more freedom to this, I certainly would've enjoyed the little what-ifs if they didn't lead to the game ending outright.
Overall, this was decent and the information provided was done so in a interesting manner. Good work!

Aww, I was hoping we'd be able to 'change' history in the game rather than being forced to play it out as it was.
Nonetheless, this was a very informational piece (to the point that it should probably go to Edutainment!). It was interesting and was a good, but brief summary of the Civil War's major battles.
As noted above, this could've been a really, fantastic Storygame if we were able to really change how the Civil War was played out, as well as see the consequences of our actions if the Confederacy ended up winning, or we couldn't bring the Union together.
As it is now, however, it can only serve as an informatory essay about the American Civil War. 5/8

A somewhat boring game, but it was alright since I am learning about the Civil War right now. A few grammatical mistakes, but it is alright. Overall, a 4/8.

I don't give ratings of 8 often. I think this is my 2nd time. I really enjoyed this even though I was on the losing side. Bravo!

Fairly enjoyable if a bit inaccurate in places (Shiloh was a church rather than a strategically important town and there was NO WAY the Confederates could have captured Washington in the autumn of 64, they tried but simply didn't have the men). It was well-written and informative though these what-if things are tricky to write as if you change history anything could happen... it would be interesting to try playing this as Jeff Davis though.

This was a good "quiz" sort of game. It is more detailed than many of the other games of its type.
To be more of a story, I agree with the others that you would need to flesh out the choices, and the choices could change the course of the war. But it is a good story for its type.

It wasn't really a storygame, more like a really detailed, well-written quiz.
I agree with Tan that it could be amazing if you had thought about how making different choices might cause the war to go differently, and then allowed us to play through the consequences of those choices, rather than simply ending the game as soon as the "wrong" choice is made.
