Accidentally deleted my last comment, so just paraphrasing:

The writing itself is mostly fine but there's almost nothing here. The story loves telling you about how there's all these amazing fantasy elements on the wonderful island, but then the author seems to get bored immediately and ends it with some random mention of a 'grumpy dinosaur' that only exists offscreen or else scolds you for even considering letting a wolf eat some rabbits. Sweetie, that's what wolves do.

For the length of the game, it's hardly more than a plot outline. It really needs to be longer.
