Player Comments on Silence
Spoilers below.
I would like to withdraw my previous comment on there being no alternate endings. I have just realized there is one other ending that does not lead to death. I apologize for my error.
The story is still very linear, with minimal branching.
The other ending, finding an abandoned city, has no detail or fleshing out besides a quick summary.
I did like that it is implied (though did not like that is is outright said in a specific ending) that you never escape, even in the city and garden endings.
I doubt the author will ever see this, but I'll change my rating to a 4/8 now that I found a different ending.

Spoilers below.
Plot-3/8
The entire story was extremely linear. You either can't stray from the main path, or die if you do. The story would have been greatly improved with alternate endings, maybe one where the protagonist doesn't realize what they did in the past.
Another issue I had was the "go left" or "go right" options. There is no point in including it, as it boils down to random luck. It was also problematic that when you choose to go right, you are forced to go left anyway.
The ending felt more like an infodump than an actual ending. I did like the concept of realizing you did something horrible in the past, but there was so much opportunity to expand the story, have some character development based on the player's choices, opportunity that the author didn't take.
Characters-3/8
The main character had zero personality, but that is expected, considering they also had no memories. It would have been nice to see some character development, but, again, that is impossible without expanding the story to have alternate endings.
The robot BIOS had more personality than the protagonist.
Items-1/8
This may be my fault, but I could not find any uses for the holographic map, and only one use for the key. When the key was used, it just sent the player looping back a few pages, so I just don't see the point of the items.
3/8, though only because there was no branching.

in the tory I wake up not knowing who I am and not having any memories. I woke up in some kind of hospital like building and its all future based type technology. I end up deciding to escape following a holographic map and being lead to and endless end.

I like the premise behind the "Labyrinth/Lab" would love to write a prequel spin off based on that.

I have no idea if I beat the game or not. The confusing ending is why I rated it so low.

It is a GREAT plot and the writing was great. However It is quite unnecessary to have the option where you can go back instead of dying.
