This was good, but you know you can use basic scripting to stop the player from choosing specific links if they don't have the right item. That way you don't have to keep saying "only go here if you have the broom" - you can stop them from cheating. It would also make this story a lot more immersive.
You can also die on the first page, which will annoy some people.
Otherwise I think it was all right for a first story, there's quite a few choices and you get to pick up items and use them (even if the scripting isn't there).

Very well written and imaginative, though there is a lot of cursing.

the story is very well-written and imaginative, and I would rate it 8 if it were not for the issues with the play through. you didn't really seem to grasp how the story editor worked, and there were quite a few issues because of that. otherwise, i loved it.

Thanks for the comments. I wasn't sure if I should flesh out the reasoning; I thought that it would distract the player and ultimately wasn't important. I didn't want to get into the classic "I hate my job, and now I find out I'm justified in hating it because it's an evil front for terrorists," shtick. I purposely left the terrorists' background and motive ambiguous, but what I thought was realizing the limits of storytelling was seen by others as laziness.

There's no link restrictions or items, so if you read about having an item on one page, you can have a different one if you choose so in the next. This story could be better if had more of the advanced editor features. As for the story itself, it was okay. The imagery wasn't too graphic, which I suppose was a good thing, especially given the brutality of the situation. Other than that it's pretty much an escape. No character development, no hero development, and a rushed plot...

Despite being linear at times, it still managed to
provide an entertaining - albeit largely choiceless
storyline.

It really needs the Advanced Editor in order to make the game impossible to cheat with. It's pretty easy to use and makes the game *that* much better.

This game does simple, didn't complex and short.... If you're cheating.
I like it, for your first-time, this game sure does was a decent one, so many endless possibility, but didn't very complex like most of action movies.
Learn how to use Advanced setting next time ok? ;)

It is short, lacks descriptive language, and isn't very complex in story or structure. Despite these things, not terrible, just sort of mediocre.
