You put soooo much into a small amount of words! I kept trying to theorize awhat all the doohickies and doodiddies could possibly be! The fact that you could do that is super wonderful.
Now, who was I? Maybe I didn't understand the endings, but maybe I was God. Or a cool lord guy, but God is much more interesting. I got to decide the fate of a girl I never met and I admiit I was not very attatched, but because I failed to act, I became hated by her pops! That must be what God is really like, huh? If I was Him, I'd probably sit real quiet-like every once in a while just to change things up.

I can't handle it.
I can't handle it.
I can't handle how you keep writing these puzzle piece stories and I always feel like I'm juuust on the verge of figuring something out, but can't quite bridge the gap.
Or maybe it's really as simple as the letters being written to a god (or a player) and your last dystopian story just has me looking for complexity here on a level that was never intended. Maybe the whole point is that it was unexplained.
Anyway, interesting stuff, and a variety of endings. I think I'd call this one the most successful so far in feeling like it has full branching still sticking to the word count restriction. The letter format was a smart move, especially when you let on you were keeping them each to 100 words. That's the surest way to predict you'll know exactly how many pages you have to work with when planning these out, after all.

Intriguing. I won't spoil what seems to be the big reveal since it's more fun to realize as you play.
I only played two different paths, but each had a different feel and ending. I thought the first ending I found was pretty happy (a classic two people finding love) but the second ending I found I liked even better, as the whole city had a better ending and a more promising future.
I also find the perspective unique. Even though the daughter is the person most of the action is happening to or around, we never directly see things from her view. Instead, we get letters from her father to the unnamed figure/player asking for aid.

It has a really poetic atmosphere I love, in so few words, still, It is maybe too artsy for me. But a very stylistic story.
