I've always been interested in choice-based storytelling ever since I've read an adventure book in my 6th grade English class. This story had mages, lots of death pages (and win pages), with similar wording that really kept you aware of the choices you've made.

About 6 years later, I've stumbled upon this gem of a site- and I'm hoping to read a bunch of interesting stories created by others. I'm not the best writer myself however, so I doubt I'll be making any contributions to the site.

Well, for me it was more of a 'On the moment' decision based on my edgy hormonal mindset at the time. Something like "A cloud watches over others, but never influences them. I'm kind of like a depressed god.."

Yeah, something like that. Buuut it's generic nature has grown on me.

With charming lines like: "Brittany Story should have been mine, and if can’t have her, no one should! I fantasized about capturing the two of them and stripping the skin off her boyfriend’s flesh while making her watch."

Clearly he wanted to become the king of torture Netorare. All joking aside, apparently he was once diagnosed with Asperger's (retracted), so his lack of social common sense at least has a medical excuse lol

You should be getting the "2014 Isla Vista massacre".

Has anyone here read his manifesto? It's a pretty interesting read. It honestly makes me wonder if there was any hope for this guy at all before he popped off at Isla Vista.

"I had been rejected, insulted, humiliated, cast out, bullied, starved, tortured, and ridiculed for far too long. Humanity is a cruel and brutal species, and the only thing I could do to even the score was to return that cruelty one-thousand fold. Women’s rejection of me is a declaration of war, and if it’s war they want, then war they shall have. It will be a war that will result in their complete and utter annihilation. I will deliver a blow to my enemies that will be so catastrophic it will redefine the very essence of human nature." - The Supreme Gentleman

To be fair, mizal DID mention the extension to you though. I'm surprised you don't know about it since it was mentioned that you've been on the site for a while.

I myself understand where you're coming from, but it's pointless to try to argue on this. They've made it clear that it isn't worth the effort to them so it's a done deal mate.

There's always gonna be those that "slip through the cracks" so to speak. Even if you process people based on previous history or whether or not the current crime committed is gang oriented, there is no way to know for sure if someone who shoplifted/punched-out their wife (random examples) isn't in a gang outside of jail 100% of the time.

Also, what would you do if the seemingly "normal" prisoners create factions of their own? Prison life is prison life in the end.

I'm more curious as to why Twitter hasn't banned him themselves. I thought Twitter dropped the ban hammer for almost anything.

Going on Vocabulary.com's definition of a Dystopian Society, I'll agree with you on your overall point because it's- well I don't mean to be a dick but- obvious truism. We're the OMEGA PARASITES OF DEATH in the sense that we leech until we can't leech anymore, hence why we're trying to get off of this soon to be depleted rock right? We're prolonging the inevitable.

I'm just glad when shiola hits the fan and sprays all over everyone, I'll be a long-gone rotten pos.

Also, our planet's circumstances are rare, but not one of a kind. Similar planets far out of our reach have been seen. Hope to leech more ehh?

"Utopian" describes a society that's conceived to be perfect. Dystopian is the exact opposite — it describes an imaginary society that is as dehumanizing and as unpleasant as possible."

Thoughts on gun control on 8/10/2018 12:25:14 PM

Yeah, I should've specified what I agree with, that's my bad: I agree with you on your point that banning guns is a completely unrealistic and impossible action.

My mentioning of the Prohibition despite the difference in the reasoning of use between guns and alcohol, was to try to draw what I believe is the end-result of the banning of guns in America. You've mentioned how different countries have banned guns and it led to a decrease in crime (I think, correct me if I'm wrong I skim read-), but Americans already get up in arms socially about anything related to guns enough as it is- which is why I mentioned the 2nd Amendment.

Americans are convinced it is integral to their freedoms. What I really wanted to say was that organized crime in the prohibition may be compared to an organized and rebellious militia in the event that a total gun ban occured, but that may not be the best connection because as you've said the motivation is different behind guns and alcohol.
