Thanks, that's a hot tip. I've got it open now.

Yeah it probably wouldn't have worked in the US. The show was amazing - smalls teams of people who worked together being shepherded through weird tasks by Richard O Brian, who was a fundamentally strange British guy. https://youtu.be/2zI7HVMoYm8?t=176 He owns a rock bar in Manchester called Satan's Hollow which has a massive statue of Satan looming over the dance floor. I guess I don't see a lot of American filth. What we archetypally get from you guys is the Disneyfied versions of things. This place seems to have a fair amount of dirt though. Very excited by it. Are there any authors here who you particularly recommend as being filth peddlars?

Hi I'm new and I can't believe this place exists. I have spent a lot of my life playing game books (my favourite is the 1980s Crystal Maze), and hanging out at Choice of Games, but one of the characteristic experiences of these games is that it feels like no-one else is really fussed about them! I fell back into some Facebook groups recently and have loved seeing all the new books that are about. I wish I'd known the community was here before. I self published an interactive sci-fi adventure book called The Squat Machine about a year ago, and just recreated it in Twine and finally got it online earlier in the week. I feel like I've taken the absolute long way around when the first thing this site asked me was whether I wanted to create my own game. Sigh. Anyway, anyone who's interested can play The Squat Machine at https://thesquatmachine.com It's got a fair amount of sex, violence, and filth. It's about quitting your punk band and going to live in a squat in Berlin, and finding a machine which takes you on horrible adventures.
