In the aftermath of a great apocalypse, a forgotten factory hides a strange secret. Inside, small animal dolls awaken — stitched from fabric, marked with numbers on their chests, with black bead eyes and sewn mouths.
Number 12, a rabbit toy, finds others like him: 1, the selfish leader; 2, the clever thinker; 9, the strong brute; and more. Each has a role, each has flaws, and together they must escape the factory’s endless corridors.
But the factory is not empty. Twisted machines, once built for work, now roam as monsters of metal and wire. Crawling, hunting, and smashing through the darkness, they seek to destroy the numbered dolls.
The survivors must use their abilities, solve puzzles, and outwit the machines to uncover the truth of their creation and find a way to the outside world — if anything still remains beyond the factory walls.
