Can I be honest? This site, despite being active currently, looks like something out of the early 2000's. It needs a fresh coat of paint, STAT.

This has been suggested before. Like banner once stated, the simplicity of it is part of the sites charm.

The simplicity is what makes it pleasant in my opinion. And there's already a new layout in the works, but I much prefer this one.

I agree with which has already been said above, the site has a simplistic (maybe somewhat outdated) look, but that's part of its charm in my opinion.

And besides, there are already plans for a new design. Though those were revealed some years ago, and probably will not be implemented soon (and'll probably already look outdated when they are).

They look cool though :(

Though notifications don't work on them, so I don't use it much.
