Hello! What's the copyright situation for stories posted here? I can't find anything on the site. What license are they? Could I use them in a free app? One with ads?

Most authors might not care if no profit is being made, as long as credit is given, but you'd want to get individual permission for something like that. The overall copyright statement is to Halogen Studios, but the site owner has stated that's a protective thing and not meant to hinder authors wanting to publish elsewhere, the last time it came up.

I know Endmaster's games are registered with the Library of Congress, but he's been open about them being shared. While Bill Ingersoll has his expressly copyrighted to himself and is willing to take legal action just like with his professional work, so it really varies.
