I understand that you have to use the Advanced Editor for an advanced story, but is the Basic Editor better for basic stories, or should you always use the Advanced one? If so, what's the point of having a Basic Editor?

Also, which editor is easier to use (for basic stories)?

Basic editor was supposed to make it so making a story wasn't such a daunting task to start, however you should use the advanced editor if you can, since it's better.

I agree, advanced editor is much better. Plus you can disable variables and scripting If you don't want them.
