Edu without the tainment.
This game is basically a mini-course in crisis intervention. It seems well informed and even cites sources. In principle this could be great material for a proper serious game.
The main issue that I have with it in the present form is that it is slightly less fun than the data safty training that your employer makes you click through. I say slightly less because it seems to be shouting at the reader all the time. The style of writing is so clipped and factual that I experienced it as borderline aggressive. It tells you to desescalate but certainly doesn't do it.
There is no properly written dialogue. Instead we basically read the script for a theatre play where Sheryl is played by an amateur actor, who is supposed to play confused and somewhat destitute woman, but still answers questions by saying "No, he is not," as if this was an oral exam for a law degree.
Wrong answers immedialy to a "NOPE" screen, we never see any consequences of our mistakes, and if we do something well our successes are curtly narrated.
It is clear that the author is very competent in this area. If the writing were a bit polished they could turn this material into awesome storygames. A bit immersion certainly would not hurt the educational content. In the present form it is a missed opportunity.

This is a pretty good story game. I really like the premise and the way you set it up. It reads more like a logical game than a story. But that's not a bad thing. It also seems to me like you made this for a class, with all the citations and things. But I really like this! 5! :)
